This policy explains what Bar Maroc restaurant ("we") collects on this website and on WhatsApp, and how we use it.

What we collect

• On the website's contact form: your name, phone and/or email, and event details if you give them (type, date, number of guests).
• On WhatsApp (at +972 54-816-5885): your phone number and profile name, the content of messages you send and receive (including photos and files), and details you give us in the chat, such as dates, party size and special requests.

How we use it

• To answer you, handle bookings and events, and keep you updated about them.
• So the restaurant's staff can take over the conversation when needed.
• To make the AI assistant's replies match the restaurant's own style.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

The WhatsApp AI assistant

Most WhatsApp replies are written by an AI assistant on the restaurant's behalf, supervised by staff. Staff can join the conversation at any time, and you can ask for a person at any time. If you ticked the box on the website's form, the assistant messages you at the number you gave and continues your inquiry there.

Who we share it with

• Meta (WhatsApp): messages travel through the WhatsApp Business Platform.
• OpenAI: to word replies, the language model receives only the text needed for the current reply. It has no access to the restaurant's systems.
• An email service provider: emails the system sends go through it.
• Hosting providers: the servers that run the restaurant's systems.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Where and how long we keep it

Inquiries, conversations and booking details are stored in Bar Maroc's management system (barmaroc.co.il), including its backups. Only authorized staff can see them. We keep them while they are needed to serve you and run the restaurant, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights and deleting your data

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us not to contact you again: message us on WhatsApp at +972 54-816-5885 or email barmaroc54@gmail.com. We handle requests within 30 days. How to request deletion: User data deletion.

Other sites and services

Fonts load from this website. Videos load from Vimeo only when you click them, and the map on the home page loads from Google Maps. Links to outside services (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, delivery ordering) open on their sites, under their own policies. The website uses no advertising cookies.
